Today’s Utexo BD Community session was a great opportunity to learn something new and gain fresh insights.
Big thanks to @0xashiQ_ Bhai for breaking everything down so clearly and making the session worth attending.
Appreciate the effort behind sessions like this!
@utexocom
It was great to be part of today’s Utexo BD Community session
@0xashiQ_ Bhai explained everything very clearly, and I learned a lot from the session
Thank you, @0xashiQ_ Bhai, for hosting such a valuable and informative session @utexocom@Utexoasia
Bangladesh Utexo community had an AMA today, one of our better ones so far.
Pretty much everyone was talking about the same thing: USDT coming back to Bitcoin this month through @utexocom . Private transfers, direct BTC-USDT swaps, loans backed by Bitcoin. RGB keeps the transfer details off the public ledger. Only a commitment goes on Bitcoin.
We also went over @utexocom co-sponsoring Agentic Dollars on Bitcoin with Tether and Utexo being a member of @RGBAssociation while building USDT on Bitcoin and Lightning.
Team is heading to Token2049 Singapore to meet payment operators, exchanges and wallets who want to plug this in.
Nice to actually sit and talk about it locally instead of only reading it on the timeline.
Trump just disclosed he made over $1 billion from crypto in a single year.
$635 million from the $TRUMP meme coin alone. another $526 million from World Liberty Financial token sales. all of it sitting in a 927 page financial disclosure that most people won't read but everyone has an opinion about.
here is the part that actually matters though. the same report shows that thousands of retail investors who bought into his crypto projects lost money while he made billions. the president of the United States was on the other side of that trade.
love him or hate him this is a conversation crypto needs to have. when the most powerful person in the world launches a meme coin and dumps on retail that is not adoption. that is just a new way to do an old thing.
crypto was supposed to change who controls the money. stories like this are a reminder of how much work is still left to do.
what do you think is this good or bad for crypto long term? 👇

TOKEN2049 is next week. Here is what people don’t tell you if you’re going:
The main stage isn’t why you go. The real conversations happen in hotel lobbies and small side events.
Book your meetings before you fly. Pick five people you actually want to meet not fifty random contacts.
Don’t pitch first. Ask what they’re building.
Plan your follow-ups before you leave. If you don’t reach out within 48 hours, the connection probably disappears.
Don’t underestimate hotel costs. Singapore gets expensive that week, and the hotel can easily cost more than the ticket.
Most importantly, know what outcome you want before you book the flight.
What would you add for someone going to TOKEN2049 for the first time?
Vitalik was 19 when he wrote the Ethereum whitepaper.
His whole argument was that Bitcoin was too limited and that you should be able to build real applications on a blockchain.
That idea became the foundation for basically everything we call crypto today. DeFi stablecoins NFTs DAOs. All of it built on top of what he designed as a teenager.
He is 32 now and still writes long technical posts that most people struggle to follow. Still travels constantly. Still seems more interested in what Ethereum becomes than what he personally gets out of it.
A lot of founders talk about building for the long term. Vitalik actually just does it.
The person who created Bitcoin has never been identified Not once in 18 years
They published the whitepaper in 2008 got the network running handed it off to the community and just disappeared No interviews No follow up Nothing.
What's crazy is that move might be the reason Bitcoin survived.
There is no founder to go after No company to shut down No single person who owns the narrative. It just exists and keeps running regardless of what anyone thinks about it.
Most people who build something worth billions spend the rest of their life making sure everyone knows they built it Satoshi did the opposite and honestly that might be the smartest thing about the whole project.
