@TrustlessState@santisiri +they incorporated the foundation in Switzerland and managed to convince the local regulators that using @ZKPassport is enough to do compliance checks (all client-side ZK proofs!)🤯

@mteamisloading@lindaxie It doesn't have to be irreversible, you can wrap it in an escrow contract with optional dispute resolution mechanism - a lot of design space to explore here
Had fun creating this Devcon zkPassport integration! It allows people from SEA countries to prove their country (from their passport) without revealing anything else using ZK proofs to get a Devcon ticket discount. Here’s how it looks in action:
Meta's network effects are too strong. Small businesses worldwide rely on Whatsapp as their *only* communication method, Instagram is the *default* online identity for billions of people. Nobody would care if their traffic was being sniffed (outside of the nerdy tech circles)
This thing Facebook did — running an MITM on Snapchat and other competitors’ TLS connections via their Onavo VPN — is so deeply messed up and evil that it completely changes my perspective on what that company is willing to do to its users.
