@elonmusk I don't understand the hate for starlink.
India has a duopoly and of the worst kind. If you think starlink is expensive for you, don't buy it but let others use it. Better technology should always be appreciated.
Get a life people, competition is always a plus.
I don't give a fuck if AI can do something better than me, I do it because I enjoy it.
Why is it so hard for these suits and business types to understand the concept of fun and passion?
@kimmonismus Why is Claude still in the market?
Expensive plans. Lazy Models. Unrealistic Guardrails.
Now even if they launch a better model, the damage is done. Open Source won when fable was nerfed. GPT is better value today but playing the pricing game with the Chinese is a hard bet.
I changed my dns to 9.9.9.9 1.1.1.1 and everything was fixed. Push went from 2+mins to 2 seconds. The fix worked and now I am curious why? I am reading about how this works and will probably publish a detailed article here.
My git push was talking ridiculously long time, like more than 2 mins to push a single file.
I had been living with this for more than a month now. Never really paid much attention as the push was automated. Today I asked my Hermes agent to find the problem and it did. More information below 👇
It turned out that the DNS server of my router, 192.168.1.1, answered all ipv4 requests but ignored ipv6 ones. Git has to wait for response from both threads but the last thread kept hanging.
