Imagine if Indian Armed Forces were to do this after an Indian team wins some high stakes game/champioship win. Three things will happen -
(1) A bunch of Veterans will be quick to point out that this is against the decorum of the armed forces.
(2) India's left liberal crowd will write articles about falling discipline in the armed forces and rise of unhealthy nationalism.
(3) Deracinated NRIs on IG will cry how this makes India a laughing stock, and how they get bad name abroad because such Indian antics.

Airlines have a single job: get you to a specific city. So how come last night, @JetBlue took me to Pittsburgh instead of New York?
The crew told us absolutely nothing about this change until ~10 min before landing. The pilot came on the PA system and casually said “we are touching down in Pittsburgh in ten minutes”.
When we landed they announced “welcome to Pittsburgh local time is … “ as if that was our intended destination. I thought it was a belated April fools joke.
The pilot later claimed there was a “storm” and that’s why he rerouted us. But this was a cover story for what really happened, which was that JetBlue had booked an overworked crew who ran out of minutes mid-flight and had to force land at a random airport.
They briskly sent us off the plane and gave us zero info on how to proceed.
Even now, 24 hours later, I have received zero updates or details on any potential flights to my original destination of New York City.
I gave up on getting home with Jet Blue and booked a second flight with Delta, which just also got cancelled due to an unrelated storm that appeared right before take-off. So I’m still stuck in Pittsburgh. Fortunately it’s a surprisingly nice city.
It’s comical how, 24 hours later, I’ve yet to receive any rescheduling info from Jet Blue. They literally dropped me off in the wrong city and have told me nothing about it.
Oh wait, I almost forgot: they did do something. They emailed me a voucher for $12. That should cover things.
Horrible airline. It would have been preferable to not fly me than to drop me off in a completely random city… wtf. Never flying Jet Blue again and I’m telling everyone I know to avoid this incompetent entity.
True champions don't just win medals,they inspire a nation.🇮🇳🔥

Core goal of Hinduism is “Moksh”
And there is no word in English or Arabic for “Moksh”
This alone shows how Hinduism is beyond even comprehension of Abrahamic religions
Hence I laugh when someone says all religions are same.
No guy, Others aren’t even close
If you are still singing the "Happy Birthday" song and have not discovered the melodious Janmadinam Idam song in Sanskrit composed by Swami Tejomayananda, you are missing something. The birthday song in English merely wishes you a happy day but the Janmadinam song? It wishes you a life of meaning, purpose, blessings from Ishwara and fame coming from virtuous deeds. When it comes to profundity, it is hard to beat Sanskrit.

Airlines can charge ₹600 or more for every extra kilogram of baggage at the airport.
A woman from Hyderabad watched travelers panic at check-in. People argued over luggage, repacked bags on the floor, or threw away perfectly good items just to avoid hefty fees.
Then she decided to solve the problem with her startup, Avaan Excess, which lets travelers send their extra luggage home for as little as ₹89 per kg.
It’s a door-to-door service covering 25,000+ PIN codes across India and 190 countries.
Problem is that cynical and self loathing Indians will not appreciate a start made with some truly world class infra. In fact best in class. Also seems to me that the self loathing has become acute post 2014
