Listen man, I’m not the biggest fan of Supercell as a company, but the API has NEVER supported rich data for tournament matches. That feature is very protected, and I know for a fact you don’t have it. I think is incredibly disingenuous to claim they “killed” your project recently. It just sounds like you built this entire platform without ever testing tournament matches, which is entirely your fault.
Should they support the tournament layer API for regular users? Yea probably, but that’s a whole other conversation, and something I can bet money on supercell not doing for the foreseeable future.
@fdotOnline@reddysetgoooo Shut up and take your free starr drop. You have no idea how generous supercell is. Did you know they only made $28 million on brawl last month? They can hardly keep the lights on, much less afford to make brawler power free.
@reddysetgoooo@Logan__33 It’s entirely a head cannon of mine but I thought that maybe they locked spectating/replays to a single instance throughout the entirety of the Dallas server over the weekend. Would explain the replays/spectate lagging since you have one instance writing and reading EVERYTHING.
@ShwageeXO So the guy who lives in NA and has cast NA for 4 years is asked to cast EU, while the guy who lives in EU and has cast EU for 4 years is asked to cast NA 😵💫
@senka_BS I have a way to get % for each player in heist and zone % in hot zone with a little bit of work. It’s something I’m working on implementing right now. I’ll take a closer look at brawl ball.
@xcastaBS Ok I see what you mean. Since draft is such an important part of games nowadays, there should be more of a focus on the brawlers picked and how that affects the game.
Day 1 offers in the shop consisted of skins ONLY. Players with thousands of slices got several skins and 2 Starr drops worth of stuff. The offers now include hyper charges and actual progression not to mention the brawler that will need to be bought with slices. People who get 300 slices are WAY better off than the people who got thousands day 1. You wonder why the devs didn’t give people negative or rollback? Maybe because this had literally 0 effect on the economy. I didn’t have to do anything to get those thousands of slices. I logged into the game, tapped through all of the explanations, and had several thousands slices. There was no abuse of a bug, no extra steps required by me, and no setup. Telling people that they need to be on social media is the most out of touch take you’ve ever had. You’re so much more invested in this game than 99.99999% of players, and just because you chose to make a career out brawl stars, doesn’t mean John Smith who plays once every 4 days on the toilet has to too. Every time I read one of these posts, I always expect it to be written by a child who is upset because they didn’t get something and someone else did, and most of the time it is. You can imagine my surprise when I see a grown man saying “I’m mad because people got something and I didn’t, so I want to punish all the people who got something because I’m jealous”. Don’t try to say that you care about “fairness”, because what you’re suggesting is in NO WAY fair and only serves to benefit your own vendetta against people who did absolutely nothing wrong. It would make a lot more sense if people actually gained an advantage from getting thousands of slices, but they didn’t.
