Im so glad I posed this question about tuition/fees for psych interns. The responses were at times encouraging but mostly disheartening. Clin/Couns/School PhD students are already at a financial disadvantage. They shouldnt have to pay such burdensome fees.

Re: clinical psychology internship- this idea that students who don't TRAVEL to a site for their interview are less "invested" is really damaging and excludes fantastic students who simply don't have the means for this type of financial "investment." (1/3)

Programs should be thoughtful/intentional about the expectations of their processes & how they are advertising their responsiveness. If an on-site interview is required, is there funding to assist students? Are virtual ones equally considered/valued? Also, waive app fees.
