Call for big demonstration against the UAE involvement of destabilizing #Africa, #EastAfrica#Ethiopia#Tigray for Oct. 7, 2026 from 10am-1pm EST, staging at Connecticut Ave NW & Van Ness St NW Washington DC.
Forces under the direct command of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali, who faces accusations of genocide, have executed multiple drone strikes in Tigray. These operations have reportedly targeted regions inhabited by civilians and containing essential infrastructure. On 12 September and in the early hours of 13 September, Ethiopian drone strikes occurred in the town of Korem, located in southern Tigray. These nocturnal attacks resulted in the destruction of two schools and their associated facilities. Such ongoing actions by the Ethiopian regime constitute significant violations of international humanitarian law. @SecRubio@StateDept@SenateForeign@SenatorShaheen@SenatorRisch@SenatorCardin
For many survivors of sexual & gender-based violence in #Tigray, accessing care remains difficult due to stigma, insecurity & limited support services.
To help address this gap, Harambee Collective, in partnership with @TigrayRHB, is proud to launch a new free GBV helpline.
#saudiarabia, In the name of Allah, whom you believe in, please pardon the Ethiopians sentenced to death under Saudi law. Kindly consider the current political climate in Ethiopia. In the name of Allah, forgive them and facilitate their deportation. @Saudi_Gazette@UN_SaudiArabia
PublicHealthMessage#5: Empower Her International Women’s Day || March 8, 2026
As someone with interests in women’s health and empowerment and son of a heroic mother and brother of 5 women, I would like to take this day to express my stand in solidarity with all women, especially those who live and lead in resource limited settings, carrying the burden of war, poverty, displacement, and violence.
The strength of these women is not abstract. It is found in the
- mother who protects health and dignity with scarce resources,
- girl who insists on learning amid uncertainty,
- woman who heals communities while her own wounds go unseen
- women who fight against injustice
These are not stories of resilience by choice, but of courage demanded by injustice.
When women are denied care, education, and protection, entire societies are held back.
On this March 8, let’s unite towards calling to move beyond celebration to action, investing in women’s health, amplifying women’s voices, and refusing to normalize violence against women anywhere.
Women’s lives matter.
Women’s leadership matters.
Women’s future matters.
