John Deere reveals changes to 2027 X9
These updates for certain machines include:
-new modular concaves that are easily serviced
-factory-installed remote concave covers
-remote separator grate covers
-hydraulic folding ladder

Model year 2027 John Deere combines have a 550-bushel grain tank, up from 470, and a 35-foot unload auger that’s designed for 40-foot controlled precision traffic farming operations. 
More crops added to the smart automation system. That smart automation system is actually really good, by far the best value on that machine besides the twin rotor.
What do you suppose this thing will cost now?

Got about 4000 acres in a 2025 John Deere X9 this harvest and it is the best all round combine on the market tip to tail.
I followed the maintenance & break-in guide to a tee, customized everything the way I wanted it, adjusted my header setting for my topography and stuffed the machine full all year, ran it as hard as I possibly could while keeping loses under control. I even went full tilt into washouts just to see if the header could adjust in time, and it did every single time.
You know what I repaired this year?
4 knives & 3 guards- sure it’s still $11,000 but my downtime was literally nothing.
The only real issue I had was with the Activeyield attaining peak accuracy after about 100 loads and then going off the reservation until I had to reset it.
Deere did a phenomenal job of this machine. If you end up buying Combine 12 next harvest, you have yourself a beauty machine.

Post calibrated some yields on some fields since we don’t calibrate the yield monitor’s, everything goes through the scale on the cart. Feel like every time I figure out more things on op center. I like the data analysis more and more. Great job @kyleplattner

High schools should scrap classes like calculus & require courses focused on thriving in real life: ie dating, cooking, filing taxes, fixing a broken sink, changing a tire, mowing, doing laundry, investing, & how to schedule a dentist appointment
