It is a long time coming, but your urbit's networking is getting faster.

408k is now live and includes the "Directed Messaging" upgrade.

In order to ensure a clean rollout, the upgrade is coming in two phases. Phase one (live now) is an opt-in toggle, while phase 2 (release 408k-1) will turn it on by default.

If you would like to start the migration immediately, confirm you have the correct %base hash (check with `+vats %base, =verb %.y`): "0v1p.bd1ud.hribk.6619t.70jni.n06f4.9il00.voegf.kh8i9.8se4n.124s8"

And then use the command:
`:hood &ahoy-set-hash 0v1p.bd1ud.hribk.6619t.70jni.n06f4.9il00.voegf.kh8i9.8se4n.124s8`

If you aren't so inclined, you can just wait for the next OTA to be upgraded automagically.

While Directed Messaging is the headline feature of this release, 408k also makes building and compiling Hoon 15% faster, cryptosuite updates for @GroundwireBTC compatibility, and much more.
