@GroceKooper @EducationLaw2 That’s a safe answer! I agree! Their shirts could go against policies set up in the handbook! It’s possible they’ll have guns as graphics and could be against dress code!

@KiahMckinnon @EducationLaw2 Right! Is it okay to teach your child and not do it well? Yes! Is it equal? Definitely not! As a parent you have choices and you can give a great education to your child but it’s not equal!

@jordanw07700568 @EducationLaw2 I agree! It makes it unequal if a certified teacher has more training. You may be skilled enough to teach your child but what if you were not skilled enough? Would that parent seek out help?

@EducationLaw2 In the COVID19 outbreak teachers gave parents work that we would do if in class. Many parents lacked the skills to teach. Equivalent instruction comes from properly trained teachers and a least restrictive environment conducive to learning #educationlaw2

@EducationLaw2 Tinker v DesMoines allowed students to show 1st amendment rights.Students can wear tshirts to show support if it’s in the code of conduct. Walk outs could go against attendance policies, may be against school rules and may not be justified. #educationlaw2

@EducationLaw2 I believe students w/ disabilities should be guaranteed a FAPE through IDEIA! All should have an equal opportunity! We need the law for rights &protections #educationlaw2
