India’s Bank employees seek two things rooted in fairness and dignity at work.
#5DayWeekandFairPLI
The demand for a 5 Day Work Week in banks is not new. It already stands agreed upon in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. What remains is its long-pending implementation.
At the same time, the unilateral and discriminatory PLI system must be abolished and replaced with a fair, transparent and inclusive framework for all employees, recognising the collective effort behind every institution’s performance.
Hardworking bank employees are not asking for privilege. They are asking for implementation of an agreement and equality in reward.
A motivated banking workforce strengthens Indian banking and the nation.
@PMOIndia
@bankofbaroda@idesibanda@India_NHRC Thanks for your response, if your statement of "issue has been amicably resolved" then why the bank officials and staff are protesting even today ? 👇
Around 2 months back a RM got transferred to Jhunjhunu region of @bankofbaroda.
He immediately started pressuring them for third party product targets and forced to work till late.
@bankofbaroda said amicably resolve!! But Employees are protesting!!
No HR policy even now.
#WorkLifeBalance
Agitation against RM Jhunjhunu @bankofbaroda Mr Barjatya is for disturbing work life balance of bankers. He conducts meeting till midnight, visited branches after 10 PM. …..1
@idesibanda True ! this also is fit case of Human Rights violation and needs to be reported to @India_NHRC . I am sure that @bankofbaroda
being a government organisation (as of now 😀) very strict action is likely on guilty and anyone shielding him if charges are proved.
