We are introducing a dedicated audio analysis engine in Cider, built on foundational research from "Beat This!" alongside academic papers published by Sorbonne Université in Paris.
Our goal is to deliver fast, accurate analysis across entire music libraries while maintaining the performance and safety required for constrained environments, including web runtimes and sandboxed on-device platforms.
To support the wider developer community, we plan to open-source the library within two months of the Cider 4.1 release, offering an unmetered, completely local audio analysis solution for any application free of charge.
