It really isn't rocket science. Roadblocks or reliable cheap efficient public transport: which one would make you reduce your car usage? And before you say we need both, let's sort out the public transport issue first!!! I'll give up my car if we do!

2/2 @Chris_Boardman, A Mentor of mine uses the phrase "dwyadaygwyag" Do what you always did and you get what you always got. It's why you keep getting such toxic battles when trying to implement LTNs. U need 2 reach the parts of the community other schemes fail to reach!

1/2 @Chris_Boardman, Even if we did support the scheme, it would probably still meet severe resistance because the teams implementing them have no idea on how to engage inclusively with a community. Lack of Engagement. It's where "the royal you" are failing.

@Chris_Boardman Ask different questions. Asking if people think encouraging walking and cycling is ok. It is not the same thing to railroad your idea of utopia onto an unsuspecting population. Also I'd argue that trying to silence a minority is discrimination. Let's chat - I'd like to help!
