0/ Clear signing is now live.
An open standard to end blind signing, making human-readable transactions default.
This effort brings a major UX and Security upgrade to transaction signing on Ethereum.

Hey fellow aficionadAos!🫡
This week, treasuries were in motion as DAOs are reshaping their value strategies. But not all moves were transparent, and the calls for legitimacy are only getting louder.
Let’s jump in and see what Week 04 has brought us!🗓️
🧵/10 👇
📣gov/acc kickoff Tue Jan 27 11a EST/UTC-5! Luma 👇
In this call:
- I'll go over some of the overall plans for gov/acc
- @harmonica_chat will show off the session they've developed to gather problems/solutions
- @crdntwrk will share some of the initial roadmapping schema and talk about the forthcoming leaderboard
- @clinamenic will show off the first steps with the website
The four of us will also chat a bit about what we're hoping to accomplish before and during the first gov/acc workshop at @EthCC.
Huge thank you to @metagov_project and @OctantApp for the initial support in getting this off the ground!!!
If there's enough interest, we can also hop into a twitter space following our initial presentation to have a wider convo!

I was back at my old high school today, to vote in the local elections, and spotted the main candidate at the gate, all suited up like a walking billboard, just smiling and nodding at everyone that came in...
which got me thinking...
@DAOstar_One@hatsprotocol and @AragonProject are already working in this direction.
And I’m sure more will follow.

DAO governance is in crisis. It is slow, insecure and often surprisingly centralised. But a viable alternative has not yet emerged.
What would such an alternative look like?
In short: stakeholder focused.
@DAOstar_One Together it highlights the type of governance protocol the crypto space needs now:
- Stakeholder centric and cross-chain native.
- the ability to encode stakeholder relations,
- while facilitating decentralisation and autonomy.
1/ Congratulations to @teijehdonker on completing his DAOstar research fellowship! His new paper "Delegating Decentralization" examines the institutional evolution of on-chain governance across the largest DAOs.

Governance is one of Ethereums superpowers, however there has been a blatant disregard of development in this area.
Few realise the key for crypto to win at scale will be for the broad community to meaningfully contribute towards better outcomes otherwise this is just encoding bureaucracy onchain.
Powers protocol is a role-based governance system for on-chain organizations. It allows for the separation and distribution of decision-making power by codifying relationships between stakeholders.
Some use cases:
Just created my Circles profile! Looking to get trusted by someone who’s already in the network. @aboutcircles

Introducing Circles — an ambitious experiment on money.
For the first time ever, you can create your own money without needing a bank or a government. 🧵
@safe supported @LighthouseGov, enabling the development of experimental voting interfaces powered by Safe.

Building robust software takes time—and there’s still much work ahead!
Checking out this new tool from @together_crew which maps out member interactions from our discord for the last week @MerchantMoe_xyz.
✨My Takeaway: community looks healthy with interactions being very balanced and also spread amongst many users.
Very bullish for organic conversation and culture to be sparked without team member input.
