What is the use of transient keyword in java?

1) Let's first understand serialization before moving to transient as it used in the case of serialisation
2) Serialization is the process of converting an object into byte stream, and deserialization is the opposite of it.

The transient keywords are useful in few scenarios.
1) It is useful for fields that do not represent the state of an object
2) We use it for any non-serializable references.
3) We want to store some sensitive information and don't want to send it over the network.
