As of 6am today, @OCDSB had 7 unfilled teaching positions at Pinecrest PS. 3 classes were closed and the students had to stay home.

There are roughly that many teachers at the school on home assignment or leaves of absence.

It is day 322 of the toxic workplace investigation.

Another week at Pinecrest...more violent confrontations between students, at least 5 staff leaving mid year (not including retirements) and no comment from @OCDSB, who were quick to tell staff @OttawaCitizen got it wrong. OCDSB Director of Ed @michLGee, welcome to your new post.

@gnr2525 The allegations trigger suspensions before there is any corroboration. Teachers have refused to return when the allegations against them were cleared.

Rumour has it that the OSSTF was encouraging OTs to avoid postings at Pinecrest. If true, one could certainly understand why...
