The fight against #NCDs doesn't stop in conference halls!

@NCDIpoverty@ApoorvaGomber@WHO@WHONigeria@WHOAFRO 📊 Uganda is improving how it collects and uses data on NCDs. With better records, new tools, and plans to go digital, care can become more consistent and people with severe NCDs—like diabetes, sickle cell, and heart disease—won’t be left behind. #PENPlus#NCDs#HealthForAll
We also passed out CHEWs in Nakasongola District. We encourage the public to engage with them and make use of the knowledge and tools provided especially for health education, disease prevention, and early screening for NCDs and other conditions. #MOHatWork#CHEWs
Proud to be part of @WHOAFRO's first report on PEN-Plus, a groundbreaking model of care for severe noncommunicable diseases (#NCDs) such as #diabetes, #sicklecell and childhood #heartdisease.

@ManCaveUg Activities of daily living can also significantly contribute to physical fitness. E.g walking, gardening, cycling, taking a staircase instead of a lift, etc. These can supplement efforts for more structured physical fitness programs and activities.
