General Dynamics ran an artillery plant on $533 million of taxpayer money, according to the Army. Its CEO told investors the line was "running and producing as we anticipated." A Pentagon inspector general found it never made a single usable shell.
That is your money, spent with nothing to show and no refund. https://t.co/NZMcVlJH0E...
It is hard to think of other policy interventions with such adverse effects on human life that continue to be pervasively used.

Woodrow Wilson referred to sanctions as “something more tremendous than war”. Our evidence suggests that he was right. Over the past decade, we estimate that unilateral sanctions caused around 560 000 annual deaths worldwide...
The White House just dropped a new “counterterrorism strategy” that quietly expanded the definition of terrorist by lumping cartels, ISIS, "left-wing extremists"… and "anarchists" into the same “threat” category.
The first page of text ends with the phrase:
“We Will Find You and We Will Kill You.”
That is printed above the president’s signature.
The language in the document is broad and open-ended. Once political labels become national security threats, the target can change overnight.
This is how mission creep starts:
Today it’s cartels. Tomorrow it’s dissidents.
This article recognizing U.S. defeat in Iran was written by the most die-hard interventionist neocon you could imagine:
Robert Kagan.
A Zionist, Jewish, Israel-first war hawk who was one of the most influential ideological advocates for the Iraq War in 2002 — if not the most influential.
For decades, he worked through the Kagan Institute and the Brookings Institution, producing the language, logic, and policy papers that helped spread chaos and war across the world.
He spent years begging for war with Iran after already helping lay the ideological groundwork for the ravaging of the entire Middle East — a catastrophe that brought death, damage, and destruction to tens of millions of people.
Now, after finally getting exactly what he wanted with Iran, he’s throwing his arms up and pretending he had nothing to do with it.
And by the way, his wife is Victoria Nuland — the neocon princess who helped provoke the Ukraine war back in 2014.
It’s believed there are now more than 1 million casualties in Ukraine.
Kagan and Nuland are a power couple responsible for massacring millions, destroying nations, embarrassing the United States, and weakening the dollar.
In a just world, they’d be in jail.
Nothing to see here except Benjamin Netanyahu telling 60 minutes the war against Iran is not over and that the U.S. military needs to go in and take out the Uranium.
At this point the President of the United States is Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump is his little bitch!
BREAKING: PEDO PARTY! Corrupt MAGA Republican changes law to protect his own 18-year-old relative accused of raping a 13-year-old!
In a stunning display of Republican hypocrisy, tolerance for sexual perversion and elite corruption, Utah Senate President J. Stuart Adams quietly helped change state law to rescue his own teenage relative from decades in prison after the 18-year-old was accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old junior high student.
The teen, who is related to the powerful Republican leader, originally faced multiple first-degree felony charges of child rape and child sodomy, which could have meant 25 years to life and lifetime sex offender registration.
But after Adams got involved, the Utah Legislature passed a convenient tweak that created a new lower charge specifically for 18-year-old high school students having sex with 13-year-olds.
Two months later, prosecutors offered the connected teenager a sweetheart plea deal: guilty to reduced charges, just one week in jail (already served), no sex offender registration, and basically a slap on the wrist.
The victim’s mother was blindsided.
“I felt like I was punched in the gut,” she told the Salt Lake Tribune, adding that she believes her child was merely “an afterthought” while powerful people protected their own. She believes the system gave special treatment to the perpetrator because of who he’s related to.
Republicans love to scream about “protecting children,” “law and order,” and pledge to be “tough on crime.” Yet when it’s one of their own powerful insiders facing consequences for the sexual abuse of a child, they rewrite the rules to make it go away.
The party of Epstein.
Adams claims he didn’t directly request the change, but everyone involved in the courtroom openly admitted the legislative tweak was the key to resolving the charges with a lenient deal. Wink, wink.
The young man’s defense attorney Cara Tangaro even drafted the language of the amendment, and even told the judge the new law “changed everything.”
Now, the 13-year-old victim and her family are left devastated, watching justice for the girl be denied so an connected 18-year-old could avoid real consequences.
Republicans can blather all day about family values, but this story reveals the truth that for them, justice is only for the little people, and that sexual misconduct can be swept under the rug.
No one should be above the law, especially not MAGA politicians and their families.

Massive wealth inequality is a global crisis.
The world’s 3,000 billionaires got $2.5 trillion richer last year & now hold $18.3T.
The 12 richest people own more wealth than the bottom half of humanity.
Our goal: create a global economy that works for ALL, not just the few.
FYI: 🇺🇸 A massive data center campus in Fayetteville, Georgia, secretly drained nearly 30 million gallons of water before residents noticed a drop in their own water pressure.
The "unaccounted-for" consumption has sparked a local firestorm:
Illegal Hookups: Utility investigators discovered two industrial water connections feeding the QTS campus that were either installed without permission or not linked to a billing account.
Massive Waste: The facility used enough water to fill 44 Olympic-size swimming pools, totaling $147,474 in retroactive charges that went unbilled for months.
Citizen Outrage: Residents in the Annelise Park subdivision were told to stop watering their lawns to conserve water while the data center, the county's #1 water consumer, was draining the system for free.
"Partnership" Over Penalties: Despite the breach, the county utility declined to fine the developer, calling the company a "partner" and citing a lack of staff to monitor the site.
Total Ban: In response to the scandal and ongoing drought conditions, the Fayetteville City Council voted last month to ban new data centers in every zoning district across the city.
The developer, owned by Blackstone, claims the high usage was for temporary construction, but local advocates argue the facility is "above the law" while the state faces severe wildfire risks.
NYPD officers violently arrested and pepper sprayed local Brooklyn residents protesting a brutal and warrantless abduction by ICE agents. NYPD also assisted ICE.
Enough is enough. Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch is bad for NY. Mayor Mamdani needs to fire her immediately.
Iran is reportedly considering tighter control over undersea internet cables running through the Strait of Hormuz.
Tehran may require foreign cable operators to obtain permits, pay transit charges, and comply with Iranian regulations.
These submarine cables reportedly handle nearly 15–20% of global internet and financial data traffic linking Europe, the Gulf, and Asia.
Soooo a Jewish dude traveled from Midland Texas to Washington DC on Monday where he opened fire on the Vice President’s motorcade, shooting a bystander before he was shot by the Secret Service and it barely makes a blimp in the news.
Not a single person on the Right who was hysterical over that fake and ghey WHCD “shooting” said a damn thing about this very real Monday shooting.
We know damn well if it had been a Muslim they would’ve lost their flippin minds.
NEW: Iran is preparing to assert full sovereign control over the seven undersea internet cables passing through the Strait of Hormuz, with foreign firms required to obtain permits, pay transit fees, and operate under Iranian law, per Fars.
The cables carry 15-20% of global internet and financial data traffic linking Europe, the Gulf, and Asia. Cable management and maintenance would be exclusively assigned to Iranian companies under the proposal.
The IRGC previously warned of cutting the submarine cables passing through Hormuz, which Gulf states depend on for over 90% of their internet, banking, and cloud services. Iran relies on them for less than 40%, with the rest routed overland through Turkey.
Spiralling global temperatures (1850-2026)
It is exactly 10 years since I first put this animated graphic of changes in global temperature online. #ClimateSpiral
It instantly went viral.
People watched it over and over again.
It still offers the power to shock a decade on.
An old video of a Walmart worker recording the food that gets wasted is recirculating.
40% of the US food supply—114 billion meals—is thrown out annually making food the largest component of US trash.
This is what happens when food is produced not to feed people but for profit.
MUST WATCH: Majority of US military sites in Middle East damaged by Iran, CNN investigation reveals. Many of them are "virtually unusuable."
Day by day, we will find out more and more about what actually happened in this war...
