In 2025, ADL recorded 6,274 antisemitic incidents across the U.S. Incidents occurred in all 50 states and D.C. — no state was spared.
188 of those were recorded in Texas. 67 of those occurred in the North Texas area. #FightingHateForGood
Across the U.S., people are facing harassment and intimidation outside houses of worship. That's why ADL is championing @RepTomSuozzi and @RepMaxMiller’s SACRED Act, a bipartisan bill that creates a 100-foot buffer zone around houses of worship where conduct intended to intimidate or obstruct is prohibited.
This bill protects religious freedom and free speech, including peaceful protests and other forms of protected expression.

Congratulations to the recipients of the 2026 Daniel R. Ginsberg Award, which recognizes outstanding young professionals who are committing to fighting antisemitism and all forms of hate. #NLS2026
ADL is aware of an active security situation at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, MI. We are actively monitoring the situation and learning more. Please follow local law enforcement guidance and avoid the area.
It was my honor to join the Jewish Federation of Tulsa this morning. We are united against all forms of antisemitism. My office stands with the Jewish community to defend them against violence and intimidation.
I just spent an inspiring few days in #Texas speaking with local communities leaders and ADL supporters. I shared updates on our global work confronting rising antisemitism, and was honored to join Ambassador Marc Stanley last night for a timely conversation on the state of global antisemitism.
Grateful to my wonderful colleagues from @ADL_NTO@ADLAustin for all their hard work and warm hospitality!
#TuBishvat marks the Jewish "New Year of the Trees" — a time for growth and renewal. It’s only fitting that this year, the holiday falls one week after the last hostage, Ran Gvili z”l, was finally brought home.
After the coldest and darkest months, Tu Bishvat marks a turning point, and a chance to celebrate recovery and resilience.
Four years ago, the unthinkable happened at Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas. Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker, whose heroism calmly diffused the situation and saved lives, attributes his response, in part, to the security training he received from @ADL
A historic synagogue was burned. Sacred Torahs destroyed. We are thankful no one was injured, but this wasn't random vandalism — it was a deliberate, targeted attack on the Jewish community.
Beth Israel survived a KKK bombing in 1967. That it has been attacked again, amid a surge of antisemitic incidents across the US, is a stark reminder: antisemitic violence is escalating, and it demands total condemnation and swift action from everyone — including community leaders, law enforcement, and government officials.
We stand with Beth Israel and Jackson's Jewish community. An attack on any synagogue is an attack on all Jews. We will not be intimidated. We will not be silent.
I am devastated by this brazen antisemitic attack in Sydney. At least 11 people were murdered just for being Jewish. Dozens were wounded. A gunman attacked the community that was celebrating Hanukkah.
This is horrific, but unfortunately not entirely unexpected. Anti-Jewish hate spews forth online unchecked. Blatant harassment in public spaces. Ugly demonstrations in the streets. Jewish institutions vandalized. Synagogues bombed. Flat-out assaults in broad daylight. This massacre needs to be recognized as part of the pattern of anti-Jewish intimidation that we have seen on the rise in Australia and around the world.
We must respond with action: holding perpetrators accountable, strengthening security for Jewish communities worldwide, and confronting antisemitism wherever it emerges. Governments must combat antisemitism directly or this will continue to happen. And leaders need to lead — calling out anti-Jewish incitement whenever and wherever it happens.
My prayers are with the victims, the wounded, @ECAJewry and all our brothers and sisters in the Australian Jewish community. We will not be silent. We will not be intimidated.
We are shocked and devastated by the antisemitic terrorist attack during a Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, where at least 11 people were murdered and many wounded. We mourn the murder of @Chabad emissary Rabbi Eli Schlanger and all victims of this evil and violent act of antisemitism.
@ADL is in close contact with the local community, including @ECAJewry, and stands in unwavering solidarity with the Australian Jewish community during this painful time.
Regional Director, Alex Horn, speaking at the Texas Holocaust, Genocide, and Antisemitism Advisory Commission meeting, shared info on ADL's new Jewish Policy Index and how Texas is one of nine leading states. More here: https://t.co/4mUfgKN4yP
