MBT Condemns the act of seizing 20 Ox by Police Department in Malakpet and demanded a through inquiry on use of Buldozer:

Today Asst. Commissioner of Police, Malakpet, Hyderabad Police along with hundreds of Policemen seized 20 Ox kept in a private property beside Hitech Garden, Malakpet for not having a Medical Certificate and sent them all to GHMC Animal Shelter in Nagole.The said Ox were bought from Khammam District by Mohammed Abdul Raheem Uddin basically from Amberpet who is a physically handicapped person to resale and get some profit.

Very sad part of the incident was that the ACP Malakpet took help of bulldozer to push Ox in a lorry reminding about Uttar Pradesh "Buldozer Sarkar".Mr Amjed Ullah Khan condemned the act of seizing the Ox that to with the help of a Buldozer.

Mr Khan questioned the Commissioner of Police Hyderabad "Is there a ban on travel or cutting on Ox" in Telangana, If not then who gave the authority to Police Department to ask for Medical Certificate or seizing the Ox where there is a Animal Husbandry Department to Chek all this.

If any complaint was made then the police should have kept the Ox under their custody in the same compound and called the Doctors from Animal Husbandry Department to check and issue the medical certificate but this didn't happened and help of Buldozer was taken to seized the 20 Ox.

Seizing the Ox with the help of a Buldozer itself is a Cruelty to Animal and the said ACP Malakpet along with all other policemen who took part should be booked under "Cruelty to Animal Act".

Mr Khan said that the Government has changed but the attitude of Police Department towards Muslims has not changed and ten years of harrassement to Muslims traders specially during Eid-ul-Adha has resulted in BRS party loosing power and such type of harrassement by some police officers is a larger conspiracy to creat hate among Muslims and Congress party.
