Mr. President, Ukraine did not “start” this war. Russia launched an unprovoked and brutal invasion claiming hundreds of thousands of lives. The Road to Peace must be built on the Truth.🇺🇸🇺🇦

@AanelVictoria@dieworkwear I read that it's an evolutionary response to stagnant water being less safe to drink. Don't have the source on hand though so take it or leave it 😅
FYI we don’t need a Department of Government Efficiency. We already have one.
@USGAO - the Government Accountability Office (GAO, est. 1921) - saves $133 for every $1 of funding it receives! If all GAO recommendations were implemented, the financial benefit could be >$200 bil.
EXCLUSIVE:
🚨🚨🚨🚨
According to Democrat Arizona US Senate candidate Ruben Gallego’s first batch of released divorce records (more is coming as these first documents are heavily redacted), Ruben was ordered by the court to attend a parenting class.
If @RubenGallego was court ordered to take a parenting class, how can we trust him to do his job as a US Senator?
This is disqualifying. The guy was ordered by the court to take a class to learn how to be a better father.
He certainly isn’t fit to be in the US Senate making laws that affect other people’s kids!
Kamala Harris was in Arizona last week campaigning for Gallego.

Later today, my office (@RecordersOffice) is suing the Secretary's office (@AZSecretary) regarding how to handle certain voters who need to provide documented proof of citizenship.
Since 2004, Arizona has been the only state in the country to require that a voter provide documented proof of citizenship in order to vote a full ballot. For all other states, the registrant simply has to attest under penalty of law that he is a United States citizen.
Since 1996, Arizona has also required that residents provide proof of citizenship in order to obtain most forms of drivers licenses.
Accordingly, since 2004, the vast majority of voter registration applicants have satisfied their documented proof of citizenship requirements for voter registration purposes by having this proof on file with the Motor Vehicle Division. To confirm this, the voter registration simply runs a check with MVD to make sure the voter got his license after 1996.
Unfortunately, the way the system was designed allowed for one group of voters through the cracks.
If a driver received a license prior to 1996, he did not have a documented proof of citizenship on file. But then, if he got a duplicate license (e.g. in the case of losing a license), the issuance date would be updated in the statewide voter registration's interface with MVD.
Then, if that person went to register, when the counties went to confirm if the person has documented proof of citizenship, the interface between the statewide voter registration system and MVD would yield a date after 1996 and therefore say that the voter had documented proof of citizenship on file with the MVD.
This flaw has existed since 2004. In every county. Across the state.
My office discovered this issue last week, and we have been working with the Governor's Office, the Secretary's Office, the MVD, and the Attorney General to fix this moving forward.
The number is about 97,000 registrants across the state.
All of these people have attested under penalty of law that they are U.S. citizens. And, in all likelihood, they almost all U.S. Citizens.
But they have NOT provided documented proof of citizenship.
Moving forward (2025 onward), everyone agrees we need DPOC for those voters for them to vote a full ballot.
But the Secretary and I have different opinions on what the law requires for the November 5, 2024 General Election.
It is my position that these registrants have not satisfied Arizona's documented proof of citizenship law, and therefore can only vote a "FED ONLY" ballot.
The Secretary argues that it is too close to the election to implement such a change and that it would be unduly burdensome on voters and deprive them of their voting rights.
That is why we are going to the courts. To get a clear answer.
