This afternoon I’m going to the hospital for my first of many transfusions and I’m anxious and terrified. The first few are the most serious for the baby and to see how my body takes to it. I won’t know if I need to stay overnight or if I’ll be allowed to leave as it will take a few hours and they’ll monitor how my body takes to it.

But the release of the hostages this morning has definitely taken a lot of my pain and anxiety away.

It’s going to be a rollercoaster of emotions until late tonight. This morning has given me hope.
