@manishipsfast Yes, browser data is safe. The sandbox blocks all reads to ~/Library. I've tested it — trying to access browser data from inside the sandbox fails with a permission denied error.

You don't need a separate Mac Mini or a VPS to run OpenClaw safely.
macOS has a built-in sandbox (sandbox-exec) that can restrict any process to just your working folder.

My setup:
→ ~/openclaw — full read/write ✅
→ ~/.openclaw — config access ✅
→ ~/.zshrc, ~/Desktop, ~/Documents — BLOCKED 🚫

Your personal files are walled off. OpenClaw can only touch what you give it. Zero extra hardware, zero monthly cost.

One .sb profile + a shell alias. That's it.

Caveats before you do this:
Apple has marked sandbox-exec as deprecated — still works today but could break in a future macOS update
It's not VM-level isolation. The process still inherits your env vars (tokens, secrets), can access the clipboard, and has no CPU/RAM limits
