@benedictevans It's probably both. Engagement maximisation has a balance to strike. To keep you happy, you mostly see your bubble's activity. But this is peppered with extreme opposing views for the bubble to pile onto. It shows you the 'outrageous' tweet, but also the replies you agree with.
A new #TheQueue dynamic has emerged. Instead of 2 lines each side filing past steadily, now people are waiting several metres away and going up to the coffin one by one, massively slowing the pace. If this keeps up, lots of people still waiting won't get through.
@GJ7RWT @DTL Same! Boombox I had as a kid I think went up to 108MHz, but the tuner wheel was cheap and you could easily force a little past that and hear (quietly) ATC comms, probably around 109MHz.
Apparently a lot of people born after 2000 don't know what a computer file or folder/directory is. Found this quite hard to believe at first. But plausible if you have only ever used mobile devices and consoles.
