@RonDeSantis Much of this balance is driven by human interaction. I have found I can get balanced answers from almost any AI if i lead it down the path of logic and ask for supporting data. Why do we continue to politicize something that at its core should be logical?

For what it is worth as I have aged i have chosen to not be driven by busyness. I have not found that it increases my income and it sure as hell does not increase my happiness. Most of what is encompassed by busyness is just BS that we inflict upon ourselves.

I ask myself will accomplishing this task take me to where I want to go. Does it add value to my life or to the lives of those around me. I treasure my mornings in my garden to think and to breathe. Even so i have a lot of stress in my life in terms of income flow and quality of life but busyness does not solve those problems it actually makes them worse.

Thanks for writing this it makes one think

Sharp Observation: You’re one of the clearest voices on the hardware and infrastructure side of AI right now.

I’m curious about something deeper: Have those of you deep in the trenches on the hardware side spent much time thinking about what changes if AI is no longer mostly rented on someone else’s infrastructure, but instead deployed on systems that companies actually own and intentionally grow over time?

The current rental model forces constant resets and fragmented context. I wonder if shifting toward owned, persistent infrastructure could open the door to fundamentally better architectures — ones with real continuity and memory instead of today’s short-lived sessions.

Would love to hear your thoughts on that tension.
