@joshmcgoo Most procedures including several types of biopsies I've had and HSG were with no meds at all. Gyn even said the HSG is incredibly painful but "there is nothing we can do".
@gabsmashh It is much easier to do if you're in one org for a while than by switching.
I used to change jobs every couple of years. But staying instead helped me more on this.
@gabsmashh I worked as a team lead first.
Found allies in leadership the org who will advocate for me.
Created value in my current role.
Attend various leadership training activities.
Applied to roles I was invited to apply to.
It isn't easy.
@shehackspurple I would explain that you have no bandwidth for tasks outside of your current responsibilities.
I'd suggest a person you feel is qualified to perform the task or offer to train in the needed skill set.
Setting boundaries at work is scary at first but it gets easier with practice.
@coleens_ I was gone for a couple of years and it kind of feels like that for me also.
I don't know if I have the energy or will to do anything about it.
I'm tired.
I work too much.
I have a life outside of it.
Only so many hours in a day.
@IanColdwater Yeah, I'm glad they haven't done that here. It is hard enough for me to summon the executive function and anxiety control to go in to a store.
Add more barriers and all my orders will be for pick up.
