"Could my patient with cholecystitis also have bile duct stones?"
This new study can help answer that question: https://t.co/iOo6uhWwsX.
Kudos to @Pchisholm_MD from turning a question on rounds into a paper in GIE.

Hearty and well deserved congrats to my friend @ebtapper on being named
Academic Director of Hepatology @UMichGIHep@MichiganLiver
Dedicated dad, and every bit as hard working, intellectual and witty as he appears.
If you don't know him - get to meet him.
Join me and congratulate our friend Neehar on promotion to Associate Prof
Reviewer quote: his achievements "surpasses what would be needed for promotion to Associate Prof at almost any institution. In fact, the case could be made for him to transition to full professor"
@NDP1001
@tberzin Have had good success with this for choledochoduodenostomy in smaller ducts - would add that using “max” elevator can help stabilize and hold outer sheath in place while stent is being pushed out
@seanbhalla@IBDimmunology@BilalMohammadMD Agree - has the perfect storm of being one of the devices used infrequently and, when done wrong, can go badly. Gotta get some reps in to make it second nature!
