Paper alert! Congrats to Lara, @CMDooley77, @DouglasAdamoski and @TJ_ThomasJuan for their great work on identifying the first example of Transcriptional Adaption in humans!🎉
Excited to see our paper @StainierLab "The innate immune regulator MyD88 dampens fibrosis during zebrafish heart regeneration" being highlighted with a News & Views article! Thank you @NatureCVR and Kazu Kikuchi! 😊

The transmembrane glycoprotein Gpnmb is required for the immune and fibrotic responses during zebrafish heart regeneration https://t.co/TWqtaihXoY #biorxiv_molbio
Excited to share our project on Gpnmb during heart regeneration. Fun project that started with the endothelium and science took us to our beloved macrophages. This project was only possible thanks to the tremendous efforts of @Savita_Gupta7 and a great group of coauthors
Very happy to share my PhD work on Gpnmb during cardiac regeneration in zebrafish🥳. Thanks @Ruben and Didier @StainierLab for all the support and guidance. Please check it out👇🏻
Excited to share our latest efforts to try better understand how the cardiac endothelium instructs heart regeneration. This was only possible thanks to the tremendous effort of @DrIsaacWang and @armaanmehra_ and a great group of co-authors
New paper alert 📰 Beyond excited to share the latest work from our lab by first author @DorotheeBornho1 at @natcomms !

The heart is a resident tissue for hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells in zebrafish
Our work on a therapeutic approach in the vascular disease CCM has just been published. Targeting the polycomb repressive complex 1 suppresses lesion formation in a murine CCM model: DOI: 10.1161/CIRCULATIONAHA.123.067438

Beyond thrilled to present our first (!) work @TheCrick! A tour de force by @tobyandrews et al combining imaging, solid morphometrics, theory, perturbations to show how a developing heart grows and scales up its morphological complexity to keep beating...

Issue 13 is complete!
On the cover: zebrafish cardiac ECM labelled by Tg(ubb:ssNcan-GFP) & surface rendered in 3D using Imaris. Colors mark distinct cardiac regions: ventricle (purple), atrioventricular canal (yellow) & atrium (green). See Gentile et al.

New paper alert 📰 Mechanical forces remodel the cardiac extracellular matrix during zebrafish development
Very excited to share the latest work by first authors Alessandra Gentile and @MargaAlbu together with @Stainierlab! Out in @devjournal

@Ella_Maru@StainierLab Thanks @Ella_Maru! We did gain of function experiments with egr3 and nr4a2b in endothelial cells in vivo, and we observed the cells started to migrate to the ECM upon overexpression of those genes :)
