You can’t grow muscle without pain. You can’t find wisdom without failure. You can’t build confidence without looking foolish and embarrassing yourself.

All growth has an inherent sacrifice to it.

Many situations in life are similar to going on a hike: the view changes once you start walking.

You don't need all the answers right now. New paths will reveal themselves if you have the courage to get started.

Life is hard. That’s what life is. And these challenges that you face, they’re gonna do their best to take you down. Do not let them. Stand up. Dig in. Line up those problems and confront them. Face them. Fight them. Do not let them bring you down.

🚨Every coach should listen to Nick Saban talk about transformational coaching.

⁉️Do you care about your players for your benefit or their benefit?

Coach Nick Saban speaks on College Football today and the Transfer Portal:

“Everything is transactional in College Football right now”

Nick Saban just delivered a leadership masterclass on @CollegeGameDay 🔥 🏈

Transformational Leadership > Transactional Leadership.

Transactional leaders lead so you can do something for THEM. Transformational leaders lead so they can do something for YOU!

Be a transformational leader today! 👊

One of the major problems with social media for society:

It's made talking more important than doing.

It's much easier to shout and scream about what's right or wrong...Instead of taking action.

You see it in politics, sport, and work.

Look for the doers.

[Jamy Bechler @jamybechler]

Control the controllables. No excuses. Character is not situational. Distractions are what you see when you take your eyes off the goal. Trust the process.

It’s moments like these when I think about people who don’t enjoy sports and I wonder what they’re doing right now. Maybe a nice book or museum or hike or something. All lovely, I’m sure.

Gimme this.

"I appreciate guys that lay it on the line.
Maybe you're outnumbered.
Maybe you're not the most talented.
Maybe the odds are against you and nobody believes in you.
I respect the hell out of those guys that will fight.
That's what we're about." -Dan Campbell
Be relentless.

I think we have to accept the fact that Josh Allen is more Phillip Rivers than Peyton Manning.

Still a phenomenal player, but there’s levels.

[nick wright @getnickwright]

Baker’s played in 4 playoff games at this point, been an underdog in all 4 & he’s been downright awesome in 3 of them (@ PIT, vs PHI, vs DET) and was decent in the other (@ KC).

He has 10 TDs, 2 INTs, a 105 rating & nearly 300 YPG.

He’s been a legit awesome postseason QB.

[Mike Greenberg @Espngreeny]

Every coach in every sport talks about creating a culture.

Dan Campbell has actually done it, in a place it often felt it would never happen.

No matter how much credit you give him, it’s not enough.

A year ago at this time, there appeared to be so many more questions than answers about the Texans, including whether a win in Week 18 last season would prove harmful because it moved them to the 2nd pick in the NFL Draft.

It’s now easy to see Houston as a playoff staple going forward. CJ Stroud just had maybe the best rookie QB season ever, DeMeco Ryans is a helluva coach and the roster has a really impressive young core to build around.

Unbelievable run and just the beginning 📈
