@SomethingClassc I did. It blew my mind. It was right at the beginning of when computer animation could make people look so real or detailed that sometimes I forgot it was animated.
I didn't have a clue how it connects to Final Fantasy but it was impressive and a fun watch
@EchoesofWarYT This is good analysis and great teaching. The thing that I would argue is that the propping up of FDR is not common outside of some education settings. Most people do not praise him highly or teach that he was great. He was influential in bringing socialistic structures to the US
Here is what we know: U.S. taxpayer money, funneled through USAID and NIH, funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. That research likely caused the COVID pandemic that killed millions and cost trillions.
Dr. Fauci personally signed off on these experiments, then lied to Congress about it. Biden tried to protect him with a last-minute pardon. Thatโs the very definition of a cover-up.
@Coach_Yac Not Mykel Williams. He's a good player to build the team up long term. These people suggest the types of trades thinking they don't have ramifications. The 49ers want to add proven vets like Crosby while continuing to get and keep solid long-term like Williams
@Rainmaker1973 That's not laminate flooring. It's vinyl and it's the flexible stuff. Easy to cut but different from the rigid core that most people are going to use and still different from laminate, which would require a saw.
@StarWarsSession The actual sequels to Return of the Jedi. Luke's New Jedi Order, Han and Leia's kids, Mara Jade and Ben Skywalker, some of the old EU stories out to screen but filtered through the original trilogy lens to tone down some of the comic book -esque exaggerations and mcguffins
@mjarbo These are good points.
But about writing that variant of Luke, you really can't. You can't take someone else's character, established in lots of media over 3 decades, loved by fans, and change who he is at his core and his general outcome. He's not yours, and it's not genuine.
@Rajjah@HalfTangible I liked his death in the Sarlacc pit. It's different if you have an attachment to him as a character but he was a bounty hunter and nemesis. The heroes created some chaos for their benefit and took down Boba Fett, Jabba, and their allies. It worked
@MichaelFKane@archeosophy Their hyperdrives clearly go faster than light, at least for story purposes. They are like...warp drives? ๐
I've always thought that the distance they travel otherwise means the sub-light engines need to propel them really freaking fast too. Easily close to normal light speed
@sp4reR1bs@MichaelFKane Yeah and with Luke training with Yoda, you actually have to assume that it was probably weeks or a few months that they were in transit. The scenes don't explain it but it's a vaguery that intentionally enables the details of the story
@WallpaperKeith@Rose_the_Bun@insanedms I didn't watch it but I'd hear the theme song when it came on next on the TV or when someone else was watching it
@frankyyvv@MichaelGeo2213@OurSf49ers It's big because Verse has been a surprisingly good player for them and they ideally would have wanted to pair the two together but instead they got an upgrade in the same role. It's a haul just to upgrade an already solid position. Still good, but a big price considering
@Coach_Yac Probably. Two firsts and some extras
I'm fine with them not getting him too. The Rams are hitting a time limit wall with Stafford soon to retire and they know it. The 49ers are not and aside from Kittle, they can keep getting moving forward with old stars and new
