Media Release: Plane Used to Study Biodiversity in the Western Cape.
Scientists from South Africa and the United States have teamed up to study biodiversity in the Greater Cape Floristic Region using a unique combination of airborne science and field data.
A new biodiversity research project called BioSCape, of which NRF-SAEON is a leading partner, will be launched in the Western Cape on Tuesday, 17 October. The project will link data collected from satellites and airplanes with field observations: https://t.co/mRzCuh2NGp
The ARSET biodiversity remote sensing course starts Monday! It will begin with interpreting imaging data from hyperspectral instruments like AVIRIS-NG and PRISM (aka the tech behind BioSCape). To register, visit: https://t.co/iv59rfqXHR
It's opening day! NASA STEM GATEWAY is open for Internship applications! Start your NASA journey today! Click here to Apply https://t.co/lHA9X8kd6L #NASAinterns#internship
It is still time to apply for postdoc and technician/data manager jobs with us @fzpczu in Prague! Biodiversity change, ecological modelling, macroecology, remote sensing: https://t.co/FVBrxohdED
Also, we will open two fully funded PhD positions in 2023: https://t.co/WNXB4GSnI6
