Numetal was systematically destroyed, this was just the start of White erasure in media. Numetal was one of the few genres(other genres being mainly punk and alt rock) that uplifted and joined young White men together, look at Woodstock 99’, it was almost exclusively younger White men causing a little Patriot mischief. Billy Corgan, lead of The Smashing Pumpkins said: “If you were at MTV or around MTV in 1997 or 1998, suddenly they decided rock was out when rock was still very, very high up in the thing. And it was replaced by rap…”, of course this is one man’s statement, but he was notable in the industry and has no incentive to lie about this. What overtook rock, but especially Numetal, which was at its peak, was rap. Rap’s influence on the culture lasted until about 2025 and you can see the degradation of the culture over the 25~ years, everything from how modestly we dress to the slurring of speech, “Gen Z phrases”, which are largely just ebonics, lower test scores and even, increased crime rates. This didn’t just affect White men, look at the differences in black culture, yes there were still high rates of violence back then, but it was not socially acceptable to promote or condone it. Black community leaders would speak out against the violence, black music condemned interracial crime, about as much as it promoted it, now it’s all about sex, drugs, and gang violence. This lead to the wide spread “teen takeovers”, which are just mobs of criminals, being accepted and defended, “wiggers” being prominent in society and left young men looking up to these rappers as role models, which leads to insane views on morality, especially sexual morality. Of course there were white movies like “American Pie”, but this was seen as risqué, now, with the promotion of “women shakin’ they ass” and hookup culture, people are desensitized to the whole idea(this is not even to mention the mainstream promotion and acceptance of porn).
Now, with the ending of USAID, rap has fallen off of charts and out of mainstream(I wonder why), and country, rock and metal are popular, yet again, which I believe will help lead to a far better culture for our nation. Thank you President Trump!
