Why were #bulldozers allowed to roar through #Bengaluru’s Kadugondanahalli (KG-Halli) without due legal notice?

Over 150 poor families were evicted overnight as @GBA_office, @RailMinIndia, and police flattened their decades-old homes in the slum areas.

Residents allege police excess, lathi-charge and forceful eviction. Many were injured, some fainted, all left on the streets.

Were basic rights and procedures forgotten in the rush to demolish? How can families with GBA (#BBMP)-sanctioned homes suddenly become “encroachers”?
