@RishiAlwani But it doesn't do that? Machine isn't a walled garden like consoles. You can install any PC store on it and not give Valve a cent when you buy games.
That's why it's not subsidized and as cheap as consoles are. Also, they don't charge you $11 a month to play online.

@ControlledPairs Yeah that’s kinda the issue. It was supposed to be a gateway drug into pc gaming for console players, a product for the masses like the Deck, affordable for kids that saved up. Instead it’s a niche product for enthusiasts which sucks. $700 and $1200 isnt the same for casuals.

@kelskiYT In one of the first trailers for The Finals they had vehicles, like a motorcycle and a convertible muscle car. In the S10 trailer they said something like "something we've wanted to do since the start of the game". They probably won't add vehicles lol, but it reminded me of that.

@SamCole Meta bought Oculus because they wanted a monopoly on the VR space. They spend way more money than they have and buy out competitors and developers and shut them down. They are the Spotify of VR, maybe worse.
All we need are companies and devs that make profitable products.
