Institutions can now borrow dollars against their bitcoin without selling it...

@circle launched Digital Asset-Backed Borrowing today for eligible Circle Mint customers on @arc and @ethereum. Clients deposit bitcoin:native, mint cirBTC, and borrow $USDC through @Morpho lending markets, @aave support is to follow.

Each cirBTC is backed 1:1 by Bitcoin held at Circle National Trust. The service is open to institutions only and excludes New York clients.

The more time I spend building on @arc, the more convinced I am that the interesting part isn't the launch hype

Arc went live on Sept. 16 with 100+ applications and 100+ institutional and ecosystem builders. Five days in, Uniswap has already reported $300M+ in swaps on Arc, while Arcscan is showing 52K trx in the last hour and 15+ TPS

And the infrastructure keeps stacking. @Uniswap is live across v2, v3, v4 and UniswapX. @chainlink has added Arc to its latest wave of integrations. @aave, @Morpho, wallets, bridges, infrastructure providers and agent-focused projects are already part of the ecosystem

I'm bullish because this doesn't feel like a chain waiting for a narrative to be invented

The pieces are already being put in place, now I want to see what gets built on top of it
