Congratulations to the Regional Coordination Operations Centre (RCOC) in the Seychelles and the Madagascar-based Regional Maritime Information Fusion Center (RMIFC) for delivering an impressive Western Indian Ocean maritime oil spill response tabletop exercise (TTX) from October 7 to 11. PDC had the opportunity to brief on DisasterAWARE and its application in a maritime environment affected by both natural and man-made hazards. Mahalo (thank you!) to the RCOC Director, the US Embassy in Port Louis, and the US Embassy in Victoria for requesting PDC participation.
