@Veganmathbeagle You know the answer. The “Non-profit” organization of the Collegeboard has somehow allowed Texas Instruments to continue to make massive profits off of a product that has not been truly updated in 30 years. But that’s because we all still value the knowledge based on a score 1-5
@RAD_is_awesome No one question the grade point average (GPA) which says an F is 0, D is 1, C is 2, B is 3, and A is 4. All grades weighted equally. People lose their mind when it becomes out of 100%. Either scale is arbitrary but GPA makes more sense and is how college students are measured. 🤷🏼♂️
@swetbabycheeses @NewDay Not saying it is right or wrong. I actually do not agree with the relaxing of restaurant restrictions and the like. But I do think we will get more shots in more arms faster the way he is planning to do this. Everyone vaccinated by the end of May is incredible in my opinion.
@swetbabycheeses @NewDay When he talked about BIPOC I thought he referenced accessibility which is why he brought up a mobile vaccine clinic that would be brought into communities that would have trouble getting off work and traveling to get the shot. In that case more accessibility is his solution.
@swetbabycheeses @NewDay The article you reference does not show any stats about deaths due to covid in CT. 96% of covid deaths in CT have been 55 years and older with an exponential decrease of instances according to age. I don’t know what could better protect all of CT than an age based system
@maof3plus2@GovNedLamont If Texas had heeded warnings a decade ago about the need to weatherize all of their energy production, they would be fine. I don’t think this wind energy in CT will replace what we already have, just supplement until replacement is a proven method.
@GovNedLamont I applaud you looking at the actual data of people who have been affected by the disease. Overwhelmingly(96%) people 55 and older are the ones who have lost their lives in CT. I understand the emotions that people have toward this subject and appreciate the data driven decision.
@jakankc Sadly, I don’t see it. I know that it is happening but the process is not shared with teachers. This lack of transparency, in my opinion, is work against improving teaching and learning in the school system. #EDLR5403
@chk1979 By embedding that mission into the daily routine and tying it to the core culture of the school community. The mission statement should be simple and something that stakeholders believe in. #EDLR5403
@jennikash95 Allowing all teachers the opportunity to lead and in some cases pushing them to. Trusting teachers to manage their own classrooms while giving them the support to grow in areas they feel they need improvement #EDLR5403

@MsMitchellBio I totally agree. I think that you need to plan for the long lasting impacts in changing the culture not the short term fixes to bring up some test scores. #5403chat
