Threats of detentions did nothing, but they kept on trying to force us to stand and sing and pray, they only gave up after 4 years of us refusing flat out to participate

If the parent is unfit to parent or is wilfully negligent/absent they aren't going to be the one missing out on anything, and the child isn't going to be missing out on anything from the mother that they can't get from any other parental figure
