The so-called “ISPP, Islamic State Pakistan Province” is, yet another convenient label used to conceal the role of Pakistan’s security establishment. For decades, the ruthless ISI has been targeting the Baloch people, while religious minorities, including Christians and Hindus, have also faced persecution, intimidation and violence. Earlier, many were subjected to forced conversions; today, they continue to face deadly attacks.

During our student days, Abdul Haq was my closest friend & political guide. We stood together through many struggles, working day & night for our nation.

He was always on the front line, never hesitating to raise his voice for justice and the rights of his people. His family has already endured great suffering. His brother, Ramzan Baloch, a political activist, was abducted from Balochistan on 25 July 2010 and is still believed to be in custody.

Babu was not only a close friend but also someone who shaped my political understanding and inspired me throughout my journey. His courage and principles will always be remembered. He also served as the president of Baloch Students Organization Azad (@BSO__AZAD )Shaal Zone.

Today, his loss is a deep personal tragedy. May his memory live on.

Abdul Haq was abducted by the Pakistani military in Gwadar in February, after which he was subjected to enforced disappearance.
Today, his body, along with three others, bearing visible signs of torture, was recovered from the Panwan area of Jiwani District, Gwadar.

He was killed in custody, and his body was dumped. 💔

Azeemm Dost was forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Gwadar on 3 July 2015 and remains missing to this day. His family continues to live in pain, anxiously waiting for his safe return. Enforced disappearance is a grave violation of human rights and a crime against humanity. The international community must take this injustice seriously and hold Pakistan accountable.

Human rights activist and journalist @Aomar_karim concluded his three day hunger strike camp outside the British Prime Minister’s office at @10DowningStreet in London, UK.

Aomar Karim launched the protest to call for the release of @BalochYakjehtiC leaders Dr. @MahrangBaloch_, @ShahGBaloch, @GullzadiC, @bebarg_zehri and Bebow Baloch, who are currently imprisoned.

Throughout the three day demonstration, he urged the international community and the UK government to raise concerns over their detention and the broader human rights situation in Balochistan.

A delegation from the Baloch National Movement (BNM) and Paank met with Ms. Reem Alsalem @UNSRVAW, UN Special Rapporteur for the Working Group on Violence against Women and Girls, at the United Nations in Geneva last week.

The delegation, comprising @FaheemBalochBNM, @DrNaseemBaluch @Niaz_Zehri, @HakeemWadhela, and the Paank Media Coordinator, @Jam__Baloch briefed the UN Rapporteur on the severe state persecution and harassment faced by Baloch Women Human Rights Defenders.

Crucially, the representatives highlighted the unjust life imprisonment of Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) leader Dr. Mahrang Baloch.

The delegation condemned the sentence as a deliberate attempt to crush peaceful dissent and formally urged the UN to intervene, demanding her immediate release and the protection of all women defending human rights in #Balochistan.
