For over 20 years, we've dedicated ourselves to removing language barriers so people can learn, speak and connect more deeply than ever before.
Today, we’re taking our next step with the release of Gemini 3.5 Live Translate — our latest audio model for live, speech-to-speech translation across 70+ languages. 🧵
Bro Anthropic is aurafarming so hard!
One of my criteria for an AGI is to be able to play videogames just fine, especially obscure ones (these are not even close to being obscure but this is still a big jump)
I compared Claude Fable 5 to GPT-5.5 in this Power Rangers prompt
Thing is, Fable 5 is using Low thinking effort and GPT-5.5 is using xhigh
Safe to say, the results are... not even close. 5.5's output is bad across the board, from the UI to the actual voxel scene itself🥲
1st video: Claude Fable 5 (Low effort)
2nd video: GPT-5.5 (xhigh)
I'm also gonna go ahead and guess that this first version of Siri AI will not let me change default apps. Like adding things to Google calendar instead of Apple calendar. Or sending Whatsapp messages instead of iMessages. Or Navigating with Google Maps instead of Apple Maps. I'd like to be wrong though.
Gemini DOES NOT power Siri
Apple foundational models power Siri
Those models are based on Gemini technology.
It is not Gemini.
Apple and Google have been clear about this since January.
My first question to Claude Fable was to audit my biggest prod database to make it as secure as possible and to let me know any changes we should make to secure it further. It immediately told me I can't do that.
So it looks like Fable is just for making fun stuff that you don't have to secure. I tried wording it multiple different ways.
Seems like a great model, I'd love to try it @AnthropicAI
This is a super exciting release - Claude Fable 5 is the same underlying model as Mythos but with added safeguards. The benchmarks are great and it's SOTA on everything by a margin but I'll add that *qualitatively* also, this is a major-version-bump-deserving step change forward (imo of the same order as Claude 4.5 was in November), peaking especially for long problem-solving sessions on very difficult problems. You can give it a lot more ambitious tasks than what you're used to, the model "gets it" and it will just go, and it's never felt this tempting to stop looking at the code at all (but don't do this in prod!). The model still has quirks that people will run into and the safeguards are configured to be a little too trigger happy for launch, which can hopefully be tuned over time.
I feel a lot of things changing as working software increasingly comes out on a tap. The Jevon's paradox kicks in and I feel my own demand for software growing substantially. You can ask for anything - explainers, visualizers, dashboards, bespoke single-use apps (e.g. a full wandb that is hyper-specific just for your project), you can 10X your test suite, auto-optimize code, run giant research projects with custom HTML for the results, anything! "Free your mind" (Matrix ref). Really looking forward to all the things people build!
Claude Fable 5 specifically has a serverside flag that will allow people to try it out with their plan until a certain date, after which it will be gated behind usage credits.
it is over bros, we're not getting to use this model for long with subsidized pricing
BREAKING: President Trump vows to respond to the Iranian attack that took down a U.S. helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz.
"There were two pilots involved, both are safe and uninjured. Nevertheless, the United States must, of necessity, respond to this attack."
This is biblical.
A woman in her eighties. Ten years into Alzheimer's. Hadn't spoken a full sentence in five years.
Takes one, 5 gram dose of psilocybin.
She slept 19 hours and woke up and spoke for hours about her life, recognized family and held real conversations. She regained bladder control after five years, walked on her own. and dressed herself. Gains held for weeks.
Your app can now search the web for images.
Web search in the Responses API now supports image results in addition to text results, so you can build apps that surface products, places, visual references, and source links for inspiration.
