ባለፉት በርካታ ዓመታት በአርሲ--አሳኩ አካባቢን ጨምሮ--የአብይ አህመድ የካድሬ ኔትወርክ በማህበረሰቡ መካከል ክፍፍልን ለመፍጠር ሲሰራ ቆይተዋል። ኦሮሞዎችን በአማራዎች ላይ፣ ሙስሊሞችን ደግሞ በክርስቲያኖች ላይ ለማነሳሳት ያልፈነቀሉት ድንጋይ አልነበረም። በኦሮሞ ህዝብ ውስጥም እንኯን ክርስቲያን ቱላማ ኦሮሞን በሙስሊም ኦሮሞ ወንድሞቻቸው ላይ ለማነሳሳት ሞክረዋል። ይህንኑ ለመተግበር ሌላውን በማግለል ጠመንጃ በተወሰነ ቡድን እጅ እንዲገባ ኣድርገዋል። የብልጽግና ፓርቲ በግልጽ የአንድ ማህበረሰብ ብቻ እንደሆነ አድርጎ ትርክት ለመስራትም ጥረዋል። ይህ ማህበረሰቡን የመሸርሽር ሴራ ለዓመታት የደከሙበት ጉዳይ ነው።

ባሳለፍነው ሰኞ (May 31, 2026) የOLA ኃይሎች በመላው ኦሮሚያ የተጣለውን እገዳ ለማስፈጸም ሲንቀሳቀሱ፣ የአብይ አህመድ ካድሬዎች እድሉን ተጠቀሙበት። ለዓመታት የነዙትን የጎሳ እና የሃይማኖት ቅስቀሳ በመጠቀም፣ በኣከባቢው ያሉ የአገዛዝ ባለስልጣናት የማህበረሰብ ግጭትን በንቃት አቀጣጠሉ። ከዚያ የተነሳ የንጹሃን ህይወት በከንቱ እንዲጠፋ አድርገዋል። የተለመደው የዐቢይ አህመድ የድንቁርና ተግባር ነው።

ዛሬ፣ በመላ አገሪቱ ያሉ ተቃዋሚ ኃይሎች የጎንዮሽ ግጭቶችን ውድቅ ማድረጋቸው ብቻ፣ በአብይ አህመድ የሽብር አገዛዝ ላይ ምንም አይነት የተቀናጀ እርምጃ ሳይወሰድም፣ ዐቢይ አህመድ ህዝቦችን የሚከፋፍልበት ምክንያት እያጣ መሆኑን እያወቀ ነው። የኦሮሚያ ክልል አስተዳደር ተብዬ ፡ የኦሮሞ ኣባጋዳዎችን በቀጥታ ኣስገድሎ በOLA ላይ ስያላክክ በዓለም አቀፍ ሚዲያዎች ጭምር ተይዞም የማይማረው የድንኮች ስብስብ፣ አሁን ደግሞ “ምርጫችንን ለማደናቀፍ የተሰማሩት ኃይሎች ቤተክርስቲያንን ኢላማ አደረጉ” በማለት ልክ አብያተ ክርስቲያናት የምርጫ ማጭበርበር ቦታዎች የሆኑ አስመስሎ ተሳልቀዋል።

ከጅምሩ፣ አቢይ አህመድ በ2018 ከOLA ጋር የተጀመረውን የሰላም ሂደቱን ሲያዛባ ሁለት ግቦች ነበሩት። አንደኛ፣ በኦሮሚያ ውስጥ ማንኛውንም የፖለቲካ ተቃዋሚ ለመጨፍለቅ OLA በጫካ መቀጠል እንደ ምክንያት ለመጠቀም ነበር። በግዜው በግልጽ “ህወሃት በትግራይ ውስጥ የፖለቲካ ህይወትን ሙሉ በሙሉ በመቆጣጠር ለ27 ዓመታት ገዝቷል። በኦሮሚያም እንዲሁ እናደርጋለን” ሲል ነበር። ሁለተኛው ዓላማ OLAን በአማራ ላይ እንደ ምናባዊ ጠላት አድርጎ መጠቀም ነበር። የሄንንም ዐቢይ አህመድ በዝግ ሲለው ነበር ፣ “አማራው ካልተንበረከከ፣ ይቃጠላታል፤ እና OLAን እንደ አማራጭ እንደሚመርጡ እናሳያቸዋለን።”

ከአማራ እና ከሌሎች ኃይሎች ጋር የፖለቲካ ልዩነቶች አሉን። ይህ ጤናማ እና ተፈጥሯዊ ነው። ይቀጥላሉም። ነገር ግን ለረጅም ጊዜ፣ አንድ ቦዘኔ አማሮችን እንዲገድል እና ኦሮሞዎችን እንዲወቅስ፣ ኦሮሞዎችን እንዲገድል እና አማሮችን እንዲወቅስ፣ የመከፋፈል ትርክቶቹን ተራ በተራ እየገዛንለት፣ በመሃከል የኣያሌ ንጹሃንን መቀጠፍ ስንፈቅ፣ ስናስችል ኖረናል። ያ ዘመን አልፏል። ለወደፊቱም እንዳይሳካ በትጋት መሰራት ኣለበት። የፖለቲካ ልዩነቶች ምንም ይሁኑ ምን፣ ሁላችንም በሰው ልጅ ሕይወት ክቡርነት እና ልዕልና ላይ የጋራ ስምምነት አለን።

በአሁኑ ሰዓት ህዝቡ በከፍተኛ የኑሮ ውድነት፣ በዋጋ ንረት እና በከፋ የኢኮኖሚ ቀውስ ውስጥ ይገኛል። ዜጎች የእለት ጉርሳቸውን ለማግኘት በከፍተኛ ስቃይ ውስጥ ባሉበት በዚህ አስቸጋሪ ወቅት የመንግስት ሚዲያዎች የውጭ ዜጎች ስለ ኢትዮጵያ የሚያቀርቡትን ቪዲዮዎች እና ጉብኝቶች እንደ ትልቅ ሀገራዊ ድል አድርገው ማቅረባቸው ከህዝቡ እለታዊ የኑሮ ትግል ጋር ፈፅሞ የማይገናኝ ተግባር ነው።

ከኢኮኖሚው ባሻገር፣ የዜጎች ደህንነት ከፍተኛ አደጋ ላይ ወድቋል። ተደጋጋሚ ጥቃቶች እና እገታዎች የዕለት ተዕለት ዜና ሆነዋል። ከሁለት ቀናት በፊት እንኳን በደርዘን የሚቆጠሩ ንፁሃን ዜጎች ታግተው ሳለ የመንግስት ሚዲያዎች ስለዚህ አሳሳቢ ሀገራዊ ጉዳይ ትንፍሽ አላሉም። የዜጎች ህይወት እና ነፃነት አደጋ ላይ ባለበት ሁኔታ የሚዲያዎቹ ዋና አጀንዳ የውጭ ቲክቶከሮች መዝናናት እና ቪሎግ ማድረግ መሆኑ እጅግ የሚያሳዝን እና የሚዲያውን የሞራል ዝቅጠት የሚያሳይ ነው። ዜጎች እየታገቱና እየተገደሉ ባለበት ሀገር ሚዲያው የ"ሁሉ ሰላም ነው" የውሸት ትርክት ለመፍጠር መሞከሩ ዜጎችን መናቅ ጭምር ነው።

የመንግስት ሚዲያዎች የውጭ ሀገር ዜጎች ስለ ሀገራችን ጥሩ ነገር እንዲናገሩልን ያላቸው ጥማት (seeking external validation) ይህን አድራጊው አካል በራሱ ላይ ያለውን የመተማመን ማጣት ያሳያል። የሀገርን ገፅታ መገንባት የሚቻለው በውጭ ቲክቶከሮች ውዳሴ ሳይሆን በሀገር ውስጥ ለዜጎች ሰላም፣ ደህንነት እና የፍትሃዊ ኢኮኖሚ እድገት በማረጋገጥ ነው። የገዛ ዜጎቹን ስቃይ እና ሰቆቃ ችላ ብሎ የውጭ ሰዎችን ምስክርነት ለማግኘት መሮጥ ትልቅ ኪሳራ ነው።

It is a quiet image of humility in power, of a time when public authority was still tethered to a sense of moral order, decorum, and restraint. One need not romanticize the past to recognize the contrast. Today, pageantry often coexists with visible deprivation, and the language of statecraft feels hollowed out. This footage invites a simple, uncomfortable reflection: that power, at its best, once carried an expectation of humility, discipline, and a basic regard for human dignity.

Abiy Ahmed’s regime has intensified its harassment and abuse of Ethiopia’s patriotic singer, Teddy Afro, following the release of his latest album, ETORIKA. The album has gained unprecedented global attention, reaching more than 100 million listeners in just one week.
In response, Abiy’s repressive security apparatus has unleashed a campaign of intimidation. More than 100 young people in Addis Ababa have been arrested simply for listening to Teddy Afro’s music and subjected to false terrorism charges. Prominent associates of the singer, including his assistant and close friend have also been violently abducted from their homes without due process.
The regime’s security forces have further escalated their assault by illegally breaking into Teddy Afro’s studios, destroying musical instruments, ransacking the premises, and seizing documents and creative works protected by law. These actions represent yet another example of the regime’s contempt for justice, freedom of expression, and the rule of law.
Yet despite these blatant acts of repression, Teddy Afro’s music continues to go viral. His message of peace, unity, dignity, and hope for Ethiopia and beyond continues to spread, inspire, and mobilize people. That is precisely what terrifies Abiy Ahmed and his criminal, war-mongering, and corrupt regime.
Unable to silence the music or extinguish its message, the regime is now attempting to fabricate false charges against Teddy Afro and members of his band. Abiy’s state-controlled media and paid social media operatives are spreading propaganda in an effort to confuse Ethiopians and mislead the international community.
But Ethiopians and the world know who Abiy Ahmed is. They know his lies and deceit, and what he is capable of. They will not be deceived by his latest theatrics. The people’s patience has reached its limit.
