@snaveknigh8274@AdamBLiv I've been doing it for a couple of months now. Bid/ask spread is not great but the trades have been profitable so far.
I sell the $100 put and buy the $95 put and close the trade the day before ex-div when price is at $100 in order to avoid the ex-div drop.
@mikewmunz "Positive earnings in the most recent quarter, and the sum of the previous four consecutive quarters must be positive."
Wake me up when this happens.
@coffeebreak_YT Person A gives person B $100.
Person B uses $100 to buy Bitcoin.
Bitcoin appreciates > 11.5% per year.
Person B has to pay person A $1 per month, forever.
Even if person B sells $1 worth of Bitcoin every month to service the dividend, it works.
The math is simple.
@d_1awrence Even if the price of STRC goes to $98 or $97 today, the 1-month volume-weighted average price (1M VWAP), which is currently at $99.94, won't move much since most of the volume over the past 1 month occurred at around $100. Therefore, if VWAP>$99, dividend stays the same.
