@fiveguys I tried placing an order using your app and paying via Apple Pay. Got an error message, Order Not Placed. Gave up, went to the store, ordered at the register. Later, I received order confirmation emails for online orders. Want refund. Your Contact Us form is broken.
Minimum Viable Selection: a concept we ought to talk about in the context of AI. If you're not offering enough choice to your customers, does AI really provide value?
New blog post.

Loved exploring the true value of AI versus hype in this discussion that spanned two very different use cases: life sciences and e-commerce. Thanks for hosting, @reforge! https://t.co/MFhlfZuxPm
Outstanding session where our founder+CEO @BenjaminMcKean talks about how AI gives @Hungryroot structural advantages. Truly personalized, highly differentiated customer experience leads to industry-leading retention and profitability.

I’m proud to report another strong quarter of performance at @Hungryroot. We’re working hard to invest into our customer experience, driven by our proprietary AI and resulting in industry leading retention and our strong profitable growth.

New course! Generative AI with Large Language Models, created with @AWS and hosted on @coursera. This course goes deep into the technical foundations of LLMs and how to use them. You can sign up here: https://t.co/gSCP3CrqZW
You’ll work through the full life-cycle of a generative AI project, and learn specific techniques like RLHF; zero-shot, one-shot, and few-shot learning with LLMs; advanced prompting frameworks like ReAct; even fine-tuning LLMs, and gain hands-on practice with all of these techniques.
Instructors @anbarth@cfregly@Shelbee_SE and @mikegchambers all do incredible Generative AI work at AWS, and have supported many companies to build creative LLM applications. They bring tremendous practical LLM expertise to this course.
I'm confident you’ll finish this course with a deeper understanding of how LLMs work, and how to use them. I hope you enjoy the course!
One of the most articulate (and valuable!) frameworks for thinking about writing content for an audience.
As a matter of fact, a great framework for thinking about creating *anything* for an audience.

Excited to participate in @TheEconomist webinar on best practices during a recession. At @hungryroot, developing a differentiated offering helped us both grow the business and improve our margins. Listen in to see how we use AI to drive 70% of revenue: https://t.co/pZVxJVCLxk
@juliaioffe Salary averages understate the importance of this, because of lavish salaries in Moscow+St Petersburg. Those were relatively untouched by mobilization. Mobilization disproportionally targeted poor/minority areas - many having no indoor bathrooms; $300/month there is affluence.
@steph_palazzolo@BusinessInsider Congrats, Stephanie! If you feel like covering what AI can do to reduce food waste, that's been top of mind for us at Hungryroot. Some of my recent musings on the subject: https://t.co/hBGIasuElq
Did you know that food waste accounts for double the carbon emissions of airplane travel? Besides being awful for the planet, #foodwaste is also awful for the wallet.
Here at Hungryroot, we've put #AI to use to reduce food waste. Here's how: https://t.co/hBGIasuElq
This moment of media-fueled panic about the economy is the moment when world-class talent becomes available; when groundbreaking partnerships become viable; and when careful allocation of capital is especially rewarded. New blog post:

We've come to accept that mountains of #data are necessary for #AI to work - and that data serves as a secure moat for incumbents. I beg to differ: feedback-focused approaches to #personalization can create a profoundly better consumer experience.
