Thanks to a clarification from @nicholadrummond, we now have additional information. The mysterious designation “AITO” is short for “All In The One” which means that the GTK Boxer can engage both aerial and ground targets.

This also means that #Ukraine will get Boxer IFVs with the RCT30 turret from Germany. This info was also confirmed by the Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany after I asked him.
