I absolutely agree we’re being forced to go to these unsanitary exam centres during a terrifying pandemic, meanwhile every other exam has been cancelled. We are under so much pressure during this difficult time and i think that GPHC should direct more attention to exam resitters-
Because we have been left out this year. This exam is so ridiculous, it doesn’t test our knowledge, it merely gives us a ton more stress. Previous graduates never needed to take this exam and are now very professional and successful. Im disappointed in GPHC.
All exams have been cancelled yet #prereg pharmacists are still having to do the pre-reg exam when the country is in a national lockdown. We are working under pressure and studying for the exam at the same time. SCRAP THE EXAM @CandDBeth @nigelpraities@learnedlion@IsabelKShaw

8am Monday. Received 12 rejections from pharmacy jobs. I’ll ask for feedback like I usually do. It’ll be the same issue- my MPharm & pre reg means I’m overqualified, but we are always looking for pharmacists. Apply for those roles 😔 #prereg#thegphc#resitters@TheGPhC@the_pda
Feeling no support from @TheGPhC as a resitters. We deserve to have a date for the assessment and being part of any decisions. #Resitters doesn’t mean we are incompetent. I am so anxious, stressed because of the unknown especially it is my last attempt. @pda@BPSA@PharmacyNewsUK
They have been neglected, discriminated at and unfairly treated for failing an assessments in which those who are currently eligible never sat or tested before. This is really disheartening and concerning especially for those who have waited over a year, without any employments
There is significant concern for the mental wellbeing of preg resitters who are unable to work as provisionally qualified pharmacists but expected to study for an exam with an unknown date in the middle of pandemic @TheGPhC@the_pda@PJOnline_News@ChemistDruggist@BPSA@rpharms
Mpharm degree, pre-reg yr, 40 hours a week work, GphC competencies five times over, training days, no study time, sign offs, fit to sit process, tutor agree’s your competent to be a pharmacist..working flat out over covid. This still isnt enough? Ask my former tutor... @TheGPhC
Pre-Reg resisters have lost income as we were expecting to be fully qualified pharmacists by June/September 2020 but we have been separated from new Pre-regs who get to be on the register without an exam. We need an exam date with at least 3 months notice #prereg@TheGPhC
@TheGPhC Give the resitters some clarity regarding the exam. They have been dealing with an immense amount of stress over the past year and been completely forgotten about. Resitters should be treated the same as the current cohort. Enough is enough @bpsa#befair#gphc
For those working 40+ hours a week with an increasing workload now we head into winter, it’s unreasonable to expect all study to be completed with two months notice. As no rush has been made up until now, we could at least give six months notice of the exam @TheGPhC#provreg
I’d actually really appreciate an update from @TheGPhC addressing resitters directly. Treat us with respect, include us, give us hope. We will pass the exam and be your future pharmacists. We will always remember this phase of your lives. @TheGPhC#resitters#prereg
The GPGC talks about the importance of equality and fairness yet the re-sitters are treated as second rate pharmacy students-- indisputably we are frontline in the battle for coronavirus and the battle to better pharmacy care every day for patients.
