I’ve been thinking a lot about discernment lately.
It has become a “skill” I’m leaning in on.
I think it’s immensely valuable to be able to filter through the bullshit.
Whether that’s AI slop, mass marketing, or advice that may be great for someone else but isn’t for me…
I realize a massive portion of my thoughts and actions come from what I consume and who I’m around.
With all of the noise, countless things vying for my attention, and garbage takes out there, good judgment is a trait I’m continuing to sharpen.
Figuring out the retard version of systematic discretion…curating other people’s ideas and running them through an AI assisted filter…
Follow smart people > see interesting post/article > capture it > AI assisted digest > if still intriguing verify with transcripts and financials > check charts > trade, watchlist, or trash
Been working so far
$CRWD basically flat while $NOW -48% on 1Y, $SNOW destroyed, IGV breaking down. Institutional repositioning.
Market is asking one question right now: if AI can do what your software does natively, what are you actually worth?
We don’t have an answer yet. So the premium comes out.
Maybe something there with $CRWD
@TKopelman I know you fixed this with your client but isn’t SCorp classification with no salary a huge red flag for IRS? How do accountants still let or advise clients to do this?
True wealth is the abundance of time, optionality, and the ability to influence your view of the world through capital allocation and speaking your mind without fear of repercussions
@willahmed@0xKNL__ An old mentor used to say an hour of sleep before midnight was worth two after. Not sure if it was based of science at the time but anecdotally it worked for me.
Heard. It’s not a requirement after the first year. Maybe you lose some of the tracking or “auto” temp adjustments but still have the dual zone temp controls.
Didn’t mention this before but also like Doc Parsley’s sleep remedy as a supplement. Haven’t tried others as I’m sure there is other stuff out there.
Regardless appreciate the post and agree optimizing sleep is a game changer.
This makes total sense. A machine with no bias to time, having access to all known information, able to dig in and find out more information from a patient.
I’m sure it’s not a perfect solution but why would you not at a minimum get a second opinion.
The question is where else does this apply? Who benefits? Who loses? And how do you prepare for it?
this story is going wildy viral on reddit.
ChatGPT flagged a hidden gene defect that doctors missed for a decade.
ChatGPT ingested the patient’s MRI, CT, broad lab panels and years of unexplained symptoms. It noticed that normal serum B12 clashed with nerve pain and fatigue, hinting at a methylation block.
Within months tingling eased and brain fog cleared. The primary physician reviewed the genetics report and agreed the variant unified the entire case.
IMO, time has already come, taking a 2nd opinion from the best healthcare-AI model should be made part of medical code of practice.

Longer term thoughts:
$BTC has clearly separated itself from the rest of the crypto world.
We will see what happens with $ETH. Will it be what tokenization and a new financial system is built on? If so, will the future price reflect that?
Other revenue producing protocols have a shot. ( $AAVE , $HYPE, etc)
Outside of that, the hopium for every new shiny project or token is just that…hopium.
Disclaimer: I’m a clueless guessing boomer in the crypto world.
@T_Gatzemeier Combo of #1 and #2 thought…couldn’t he contribute the $23k to the Roth bucket of his w2 401k and then do the $70k employer deferral for the pre tax…for more tax free growth? Or his he already doing that?
