“In the early months of the occupation, children played a role in the resistance. They slipped through checkpoints easily, took instantly to encrypted apps, and were extraordinarily brave. But the risks they took were no less grave than those faced by adults. An errant social-media post—or simply “liking” content supportive of Ukraine—was enough to get a child hauled in for interrogation. Those sessions could involve unspeakable violence, especially for girls. I interviewed one who was only 11 when her village near Kherson had been occupied. Implicated in “resistance” activities, she was dragged from her home. As we began our conversation, she apologized for her stutter. “I did not used to have this problem,” she told me, “until the Russians took me to the basement.”

Zelensky did not glorify, nor did he seek to glorify, any war criminals; the unit was named after the "heroes" of UPA, purposefully drawing a conceptual line with any anti-heroes that may be living rent-free in people's mind. Nawrocki did not make that distinction.
This is the only thing I will say about the Poland - Ukraine spat.
Anyone who distills 1935-1945 Eastern European history as X good, Y bad, should be ignored.
Eastern Europe was an all-day blood buffet that began before World War II even started.
Enemies became friends and then became enemies. Historical grievances predating World War I were reopened with violence. Stalin's oppression was so awful Hitler was a liberator, until the propaganda wore off and reality set in.
Nazi Germany and the Soviets fought for the same territory. Most of that fight was in the modern day Baltics, Belarus, Poland, and Ukraine.
Alliances became a matter of survival, nationalism was drowned in blood. And at the center of this horrific game of thrones sat pre-World War II borders Poland.
When you study the history, it is remarkable there was a Polish state at all an the end of World War II. It is impossible to distill this down as X bad, Y good.
Any accusation of attrocities is wrapped in the awful truth that other attrocities were committed by the accusers. Maybe in the name of alliances that shifted as armies advanced and retreated. Maybe in the name of nationalism under the valid fear identities were being erased. Maybe it was in the name of deeply rooted antisemitism that existed well before World War I in The Pale. Maybe it was because some people were blood thirsty monsters.
But I do know this. Today? Russia wins.
Because in Russia, World War II didn't start until June 21, 1941. From 1937 to 1941, Hitler was a good friend. Signed, sealed, and delivered on August 23, 1939. Including the death warrant for the Polish state.
@K9Cognoscente@NBTProdigy Also the physics of ultrasound and mri is very different. Not sure how they're gonna bypass basic physics limitations with mri
Incredible. Publishing what appears to be (if you care to read the "evidence") a totally legitimate US program, and even citing the risks of these being used as "Russian information campaigns", Tulsi Gabbard - the gift that kept giving - presents the Kremlin with yet one more information operation.
Read our investigation from 2025 where we presented evidence that the hybrid ops unit of GRU's 29155 came up with the whole "bio-labs" concept - and co-opted Tulsi into it. https://t.co/D8qdE38ahv
After heart surgery, the parents of a 13-year-old girl were told that their daughter was dying, and that they should start making end-of-life decisions, including donating her organs.
Upon transferring their daughter to another hospital however, they were told that doctors at Oregon Health and Science University had installed her new heart valve upside down.
“Doctors at Seattle Children's removed the inverted valve and replaced it with a different one, properly positioned. Her heart promptly began to function correctly. She was successfully taken off cardiac bypass and no longer required ECMO.
Her condition continued to stabilize over the following days in Seattle Children's ICU. After more than a month in critical condition, she was able to return home with her parents.”
