Anytime I hear preachers say "I LOVE TO PREACH!" that never impresses me. So what? You may just like the attention & adrenaline rush. Instead, what I want to know is: Do you LOVE THE PEOPLE you preach to? That's what really matters. Without love, it's just noise. 1 Cor. 13:1
It is dangerous to paint the world with the broad strokes of personal opinion. Conviction is good when we use it to guide our own lives, but when we place our conviction on others, it becomes a heavy burden. I have been on both sides and am making adjustments. #LifeLessons
Sometimes God asks us to step out (or through). We don’t know what we’ll see until we go through the deluge. It’s scary to step into the unknown, but it’s also where we find Jesus; and wherever we find Jesus, we find life. Fear calls out our doubts; God calls out our names.
You are allowed to unlearn every narrative that has kept you shamed + small.
We are invited to participate with God as we write new, truer stories.
