Exciting years ahead @jointbme with a huge investment in the growth and vitality of our faculty! Kicking it off with this announcement: @jointbme and @UNCOrtho are hiring a joint tenure-eligible open rank position broadly related to musculoskeletal health.

Had a great time working with @TropoMariosin and the whole @UvaM3Lab last week. Because of our ‘laser’ focus we were able to make some ‘micro’ steps toward measuring in vivo sarcomeres! #muscleiscool
Everyone brought something "to the table" at this years' annual lab picnic potluck! We were "lucky" that lab alumna @BiomecKatie, our new post-doc Emily McCain, and sarcomere imaging expert @AmyNAdkins were all able to join in on the fun! #muscleiscool#M3unicorn#M3dogs
New ARMS Lab preprint from @AmyNAdkins PhD research. Given the novel technology we are using as well as our general interest in studying muscle adaptation, we sought to understand experimental uncertainty for in vivo measures of sarcomere lengths.
We are thrilled here @UNCNCSUBME to be able to provide our students with world-class instruction from dedicated professors. By investing in the teaching mission of our department, we are thrilled to welcome several new faculty, including @AmyNAdkins, to join us this summer!
@MVFranchi@wendymmurrayphd@JoVEJournal Appreciate the shoutout @MVFranchi ! We hope this is a helpful guide for people wanting to use EFOV. Video coming once our lab is able to welcome visitors
For your isolation reading pleasure: new ARMS Lab #bioRxiv preprint, in collab with Jules Dewald! Exciting new data: in vivo muscle architecture following stroke at sarcomere, fascicle, & whole muscle scales. @AmyNAdkins@NUPTHMS@christachicago @EngineeringDPT
Had a great time sharing our research with the community last night. Thanks to @SiSNorthwestern and NU office of Research! I think I convinced a lot of adults and high school students that muscle is cool!
At the @NU_ETHS Scientific Images event with @AmyNAdkins, whose image of muscle sarcomeres taken in vivo in the biceps brachii was selected as a finalist & was re-interpreted by a high school artist.
