The Current Problems are the older children from 20years ago.

There's another batch of 16million Nigerian children out of school waiting to grow up and BECOME SOMETHING OTHER THAN CHILDREN.

We can continue to ignore them like we did the ones kidnapping and unaliving us today.

Absolutely appalling service from you and an equally disappointing customer service experience. We booked a KAN-LAG-KAN round trip flight for my partner. The return flight was already delayed by an entire day, which we reluctantly worked around. Now, on the day of the return journey to Kano, we receive an email from @bookingcom at 3:30am stating that the flight has been cancelled and advising us to contact @flyairpeace for further information.

That's not even the issue. What makes this worse is that there was absolutely no indication of any cancellation on Air Peace's own website. The flight continued to show as actively scheduled, leaving us completely confused about what was actually happening and leaving us with little choice than to start the journey from Osun State towards Lagos while simultaneously trying to get answers from your customer service team once the lines opened at 8am.

Then the customer service experience ended up being nothing short of embarrassing, requiring repeated call attempts before we were able to get through. The call quality was so poor that it was difficult to hear anything clearly. After finally getting through, the representative placed me on hold and appeared to spend the time comfortably moving around leaving me on the line to listen to her chatting with colleagues about female clothing and other random stuff while my wife was literally on the road travelling to an airport for a flight we could not even confirm still existed.

To make matters worse, the call was never properly concluded. Subsequent calls were either ignored or disconnected.

How can a passenger receive a cancellation notice from a third party at 3am, and as at 1 hour after the day's open of business, find no confirmation from the airline itself, struggle to get through to customer support, and then be left completely in the dark while actively travelling to the airport? I've seen this many times before but this is one bug icing on the cake for you guys and very poor service from @flyairpeace.

You guys need to do much better.

Update:

My partner has now gotten to Lagos airport and confirmed on the ground directly from Air Peace staff on ground that the flight wasn’t cancelled and will proceed as scheduled. She’s checked in now and we’re hoping all goes well.

This is however the issue. We shouldn’t have had to first travel across three states just to find out what was going on and risk editing time and energy especially with the prevalence of fight cancellation and rescheduling, compounded with current road travel risks. This should’ve been easy to confirm online or over the phone but none of those channels when explored for solutions delivered.

@bookingcom said the flight was cancelled. @flyairpeace website still showed it as active and bookable. Air Peace customer service didn’t give any clear confirmation either and kept dropping calls when rung, forcing us to keep going to Lagos and confirm at the airport ourselves.

I don’t know what communication exists between @bookingcom and @flyairpeace but passengers shouldn’t be stuck in the middle like this. For now she’s checked in and we’re hoping the flight goes as planned.

This whole thing could’ve been avoided with proper communication. @flyairpeace need to do much better than this regarding communications and customer service quality.

@flyairpeace website still shows the same flight as active, open. and BOOKABLE
